If you like Madame Hall designs, you’re almost certain to love creative fashion, or have an inner artist just waiting to be expressed.
Fabric in this voluminous cotton shirt is indigo dyed by Ajrakh master artisan Sufiyan Khatri. It’s abstract, it painterly, and invites us to consider Ajrakh as an art form continuing to evolve outside of it’s traditional form. It’s exceptional cloth by an artisan blending superb technical skills with artistic vision.
In the spirit of this remarkable fabric, I decided to make an artist’s shirt. Something you can imagine being worn in Montmartra or to intimate bohemian gatherings in Paris.
This voluminous shirt has a front ruffle, and red contrast on the button tab, pockets and sleeve placket. The dramatic flared silhouette finishes with a shaped hemline….. it’s an oversized, free size design for confident women with loads of individual style!

  • Fit & Sizing

Each piece is designed to drape with ease, offering a relaxed silhouette intended for flow and comfort. We encourage selecting your usual size. The cut allows subtle fluidity, and side slits or A-line shapes ensure graceful movement. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out—Lisa personally responds to fit queries

  • Pure Fabric & Care

All textiles used by Madame Hall are 100% natural, handwoven cotton and Ajrakh fabrics crafted with natural dyes by master artisans like Sufiyan and Adam Khatri. To preserve their color and texture, wash gently in cool water with mild detergent and let them air-dry in the shade. Minor variations in print and hue are not defects, they reflect the handmade craft and character of each piece.

  • Not Mass-Made

Our garments are made in small, seasonal batches or one-off editions, each piece is designed to be truly unique. This intentional approach limits production, reducing waste and elevating exclusivity. You’re not just buying clothing; you’re investing in slow fashion, sustainability, and the future of thoughtful craft.
